Return Policy & Return Shipping

 We will gladly accept regular priced purchases within 14 days of receiving your order as long as it is not a FINAL SALE item (50% off or greater). Returned items must be in original condition (not worn, not washed, not altered) and all original tags must be attached. We strive to make sure that our customers are happy with their goodies and hate these refund windows. It allows us that we have a chance to sell the product before the season ends.

Items returned without tags or not in original condition will not qualify for a refund. 

 

Whether you shop in-store, online or are a gift recipient, if one of our garments fails to live up to reasonable expectations in any way, we invite you to return it. Whether we need to repair it, replace it or refund your money, we will happily do whatever is required to give you satisfaction within the guidelines of our policy. 

 

We stand behind our goods and services and want customers to be satisfied with them. We'll always do our best to take care of customers—our philosophy is to deal with them fairly and reasonably. We have long believed that when we treat our customers fairly, they in turn are fair with us.

Refunds

All sale items sold at 50% off or more are final sale or marked as final sale without any exceptions made. 

All sale items sold at 50% off or more are FINAL SALE, clearly marked as such, and are not eligible for exchange or refund. This policy is strictly enforced, and no exceptions will be made. We take great care in packaging and inspecting all items before shipment to ensure they are in perfect condition. If you believe an item is damaged, we request that you report it to us within 48 hours of receipt. However, any item returned after this period, or for claims of damages that cannot be substantiated, will not be accepted.

Your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days of receiving your return and will be credited to the original payment method. Your bank or credit card issuer may require additional days to process the credit before posting to your account. 

Our team will only consider returns for issues that fall under our warranty policy for manufacturing defects. Any items returned without valid claims or those that are improperly used or damaged will be rejected, and no refund will be issued.

For your protection, please ensure all returned items are in the condition they were received, with all tags, packaging, and accessories intact. Shoes must be returned unworn, in their original, undamaged box. Any wear or damage to the product or its packaging will result in rejection of the return.

Check that all original labels, packaging in/on fabric and product or pending, are perfectly intact and that these are not removed from the garment. Otherwise, we can not assure to accept the returned item because it may no longer be suitable to sell. Shipping charges may be applied to the returning product. If returned products do not have tags on or they were taken off, we will not issue a refund. If the product is worn and tag is removed (not for try on purpose), we will not issue a refund. 

You can return sale items. For all customers returning sale items purchased, a service fee of $10 CAD will be deducted from your refund.This return service fee is designed to confirm the status of your return and track its delivery progress, providing you with added security and peace of mind. Please ensure that the sale items you wish to return are in their original condition with all tags and packaging intact. No returns, exchanges or refunds will be accepted for items marked as final sale.

 

Returns:

 Just send us an email to info@boutiquejacques.com and we will be able to assist you with the return. For U.S customers, we suggest to inquire and read below for the instructions first before anything. International customers from overseas (outside of North America), all sales are final and no returns.

 

  • Items must be returned new, unworn and in the condition in which they were received. If the items in question are not in resalable condition, we reserve the right to decline a return or exchange if the item does not meet our standards.
  • If we identify an unusual or unreasonable return patterns, we may restrict or refuse future transactions.

 

Exchanges

Refunds

Your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days of receiving your return and will be credited to the original payment method. Your bank or credit card issuer may require additional days to process the credit before posting to your account.

 Shoes are not to be worn nor used and must be returned in their original box. The original box is considered a whole part of the product and for this reason they can not be either damaged or used as single external packaging.

Items marked at 50% off or greater “Final Sale” (50% off and greater) will not be accepted for return or exchange.

Gift cards and all sale items sold at 50% off or more are final sale. Socks, underwear, and undershirts are all final sale.

U.S Customers

At Boutique Jacques, our U.S. clientele are an essential part of who we are. We deeply appreciate your continued trust and support, and we want you to know that we go above and beyond to ensure that your shopping experience remains seamless, efficient, and personal — no matter the distance.

With recent changes to U.S. customs regulations, we’ve adapted our shipping strategy to maintain the exceptional service standards you’ve come to expect from us. To guarantee smooth and timely delivery, we now process all U.S. orders through our dedicated logistics facility in New York — just across the border from our Montreal boutique.

Every week, a bonded transport company carefully collects and transports your orders from our store to our New York facility. From there, your packages are shipped directly to you anywhere in the United States. We take on all associated transportation, clearing, customs, and duty costs to ensure that your orders arrive safely and without any added complexity for you.

We make this investment because we truly value our American customers and are committed to offering you the same level of care, efficiency, and luxury experience that we provide in-store.

Returned items are sent to our U.S. warehouse in NY, where they are carefully consolidated and transported back to our Montreal headquarters for processing. Refunds are issued within 5–7 business days after your return has been received and inspected, and will be credited to your original form of payment. Please note that your bank or credit card issuer may require additional days to post the refund to your account.

Because we now manage all cross-border customs procedures on your behalf, duties and taxes are fully covered by Boutique Jacques at the time of purchase.

However, in the case of returns, these duty fees may not always be refundable. We are required to wait for approval from U.S. Customs under a process known as Duty Drawback, which can take several months and, in some cases, may not be granted. While we do our best to recover these costs, please note that we cannot guarantee the refund of duties associated with returned orders.
