Saphir Gold Medal 1925 cream has been a favorite among leather shoe enthusiasts for nearly a century. A truly exceptional treatment, this cream deeply nourishes, restores, and revives the leather's shine, while enhancing its color. Thanks to its unique formula, it also offers lasting protection and a subtle sheen that preserves the leather's natural beauty.
It is made in France and is formulated with seven different waxes, plant-derived turpentine, and shea butter. The leather absorbs the nutrients in the cream, and the waxes help protect and add shine to the surface.
The high concentration of pigments in Crème 1925 produces an intense color. The pigments rejuvenate the leather while preserving the translucency of its original patina.
Renowned shoemakers use this formulation during the shoe finishing process. By applying this Crème 1925 product as part of your shoe care routine, you will help prolong the optimal appearance of your shoes.
Saphir's Médaille d'Or (Gold Medal) collection is a top-tier, high-end line formulated for superior nourishment and shine, originating from products that won a gold medal in Paris in 1925.

Advice
-
If your leather is dirty or clogged with wax, silicone, or resin deposits, clean it with Waxing Cleansing Milk (ref. 1293) or Reno Cleaner. Reno Cleaner removes excess color without damaging the leather or altering its appearance.
-
The pigments in Crème 1925 enhance the existing color by providing a transparent tint. However, when choosing the cream color to match your leather, you may not find a perfect match. Opt for a lighter color; this will minimize darkening the leather and allow the existing color to show through.
-
Darker shades can create more nuanced patinas.
- Test Crème 1925 on a hidden area of the shoe to assess the desired finish.
